National Weather Service said Austin will have a normal day through 2 p.m., then start seeing clouds from the East. Between 3 and 5 p.m. the city will see its first rains and thunderstorms, and by 6 p.m. the Austin area will see a lot of darkness to the East with increasing periods of cloudiness and rains on and off. Heavy rains will hit after 9 p.m
